The Student-Led Venture Fund
BVCC raised a $7.5 million student-led fund that will invest in companies with at least one Black or LatinX member of a founding team.
The fund focuses on Seed & Series A startup companies and will invest in most industries.
Investment Team
The sourcing and diligence of potential investments will be completed by current students who have successfully gone through BVCC’s training boot camp and completed an internship at one of the host VCs. The students will present potential investment opportunities to the investment committee. The fund also employs several full-time investment professionals who manage the students and guide the investment process.
